Black History Month Trivia Night

Hosting the Black History Month Trivia Night was probably my favorite thing I've done all semester. Although there wasn't a crowd of people, everyone's spirit and laughter filled all the emptiness. Even though, the majority of the attendees were guessing on the answers, the intensity levels were high and the happiness in the room was even higher. This year, we were accompanied by the Black History Committee as well as the Distinguished Collegiate Young Men & Women's club. Also, for the first time, we included a bonus round, where we played a song for about 10 seconds and let the audience try to guess the name of the song. The songs ranged from as early as Drake and we even played a Lionel Richie song. Everyone said they enjoyed themselves and there was even talk of another Trivia Night in April. I was so happy to be apart of this and to host this event made it all the more special. I cannot wait for the next Trivia Night in April.
